DR DAVID LIM

Dr Lim is a specialist geriatrician registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency, a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Geriatric Medicine. His medical degree was from Monash University in 2009 and he completed physician training in Victoria, including a Continence Fellowship in 2016.
He pursued further study in Perioperative Medicine and was a General & Perioperative Physician at North Adelaide Local Health Network from 2017 to 2022. During this time he also worked as a community geriatrician before moving to WA in 2022. He has previously worked at Royal Perth, Rockingham and SJOG Midland hospitals and currently holds a public appointment as geriatrician in Armadale hospital.
He has a broad range of interests including delirium, dementia, continence, frailty, falls and balance, polypharmacy and perioperative geriatrics. He has published on these topics in peer-reviewed journals and been on expert committees for Melbourne University, Continence Foundation Australia and Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has completed a Masters in Public Health and remains committed to helping patients navigate the complexities of health by adopting a collaborative approach to comprehensive patient centred care.
He is happily married with three children and enjoys playing soccer, badminton and billiards. He is an avid Manchester United supporter and will try any type of cuisine known to man.
